In New Jersey, all pregnant people who receive State-supported healthcare can get services based on their unique needs.

In order to make sure these services are offered to you, a screening tool called the Perinatal Risk Assessment, or PRA, must be filled out by your health care team and sent to your health insurance plan.

With help from the PRA, your health care team will take a closer look at your:

  • physical wellbeing
  • social environment
  • mental health
